MOXI laser resurfacing is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that works by using fractional laser technology to target and treat specific skin concerns.
The MOXI laser emits microscopic columns of laser energy that penetrate the skin's surface, creating controlled micro-injuries. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin's natural healing process.
As the skin heals from the micro-injuries, it starts to produce more collagen, a key protein responsible for skin's firmness and elasticity. The increase in collagen helps to improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin.
We'll Keep You Comfortable
Prior to treatment, we'll apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. You may feel a mild to moderate sensation of heat as the laser creates the micro-injuries to the skin.
Each patient's level of comfort varies. For some the treatment is very tolerable while others may feel slightly more discomfort.
If you wish, your laser clinician may provide you with a cooling mechanism to help soothe your skin and minimize discomfort during treatment. Either way, we're here to ensure you are well prepared and remain comfortable during your treatment.
